I learn. A value I feel is of extreme importance to being a successful designer is to never stop learning. As much as I love being part of a team where I can add a fresh, ambitious perspective, I also strive to gain knowledge from those who have already learned from experience. I have the utmost respect for my college professors for teaching me the value of criticism and thinking conceptually. I have further enhanced my time management skills, branding standing adherence, and stakeholder relationships throughout my professional career. I look forward to continuing my design career where these principles continue to play a key role in my design future.
I travel. There is so much to learn and see from other cultures. Traveling has opened my eyes to a world I had never imagined and given me countless experiences from which to draw inspiration.
I design. My positive attitude, amazing mentors, life-giving experiences, love of learning, and unstoppable drive shape who I am. Never giving up, thinking critically, and striving for the best will continue to be my mantras moving forward in my professional career.

My Story
I have been so fortunate to study and work at Purdue. At Purdue University Press, I worked alongside the editorial team to learn formatting styles and gain copy-editing and typesetting skills. I incorporate this knowledge when designing graphics and implementing marketing plans as creative services manager at Purdue Libraries. I’m currently working on my MBA with a concentration in marketing to help continue to expand my skill set.
During my role as creative marketing lead at DATTUS, Inc., an industrial automation startup company, I never knew what life was going to throw at me next. Wearing multiple hats and being creative, positive, and adaptable played a key role in my personal success at the company.
Being a marketing communications specialist at TRW Automotive taught me how to effectively communicate visually to portray desired concepts and messages in a particular industry. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with new medium including large format print materials such as sidewalk posters and trailer wraps.
A summer in Spain allowed me to explore breathtaking sites such as the one above. This site is a historical scene described in the classic novel Don Quixote.
